Netlify Adds a Connector So Grok Can Deploy Sites
Netlify's new Grok connector lets agents answer project questions, change settings and deploy by conversation, across Grok Bot, Grok CLI and grok.com.

Grok can now deploy to Netlify. Netlify said in an Oct. 23, 2026 changelog entry that a Netlify connector lets a Grok agent answer questions about projects, update supported project settings and ship a deploy through conversation.
What Shipped
Netlify said the connector works across Grok Bot, Grok CLI and grok.com. Grok uses it on its own when a task needs Netlify access. Calling it by name is not required.
Netlify’s examples: “Deploy this project to Netlify,” “What’s the status of my latest deploy?” and “Build me a website for my restaurant and deploy it to Netlify.”
Setup takes a Grok account with access to connectors and a Netlify account, personal or team. Open Connectors in Grok, search for Netlify, select Add and follow the prompts. Netlify’s docs say Netlify then appears in the list of connected connectors.
Where It Fits
Grok joins a list Netlify’s documentation now carries under agent setup guides: Claude Code, Codex, Claude Web, Claude Desktop, Claude Design, ChatGPT, Antigravity and Antigravity CLI. Netlify added event-triggered ChatGPT automations on Oct. 7, as Firerun reported.
Key Takeaways
- Grok agents can query projects, change supported settings and deploy to Netlify.
- It works in Grok Bot, Grok CLI and grok.com.
- Netlify now documents setup guides for nine agent clients.
The Take
Netlify is adding the agent clients developers open, one connector at a time. The agent that already has Netlify access is the one that picks Netlify when someone asks it to “deploy this.” That makes a listing in each assistant worth more than any single integration.
The restaurant-website example shows the risk. An agent that can create and ship a site from one sentence can also ship a mistake. Check what the connector’s authorization covers before connecting a production team.
